Arrival at Vesimaailma Louhi

The entrance to Vesimaailma Louhi is located at the A-end of Ideapark (the northern/Tampere end), right next to the A-doors. Elevators are located near the entrance, allowing you to easily descend to the water park. Access to the elevators is also available from the Ideapark side when Autoareena is open.

Please note the following when arriving at Vesimaailma Louhi:

Check whether any of the pools or other areas are reserved (e.g., for swimming lessons) at the time you plan to visit. You can access the booking calendar here.

Pool etiquette

• • The swimming time is three hours (including washing and sauna).
  • You can access the changing room and pool area using a wristband purchased at the cash desk. You can also use the same wristband to make purchases at the café-restaurant located in the pool area; in this case, you pay for your food and drinks only when leaving Louhi.
  • In the men’s and women’s washrooms, saunas are used without swimwear or while wrapped in a towel. Swimwear may only be worn by those holding a special permit. Swimwear must be worn in the pool area and the upstairs saunas.
  • Otathan mukaan oman laudeliinan, sillä nykykäytännön mukaisesti kertakäyttölaudeliinoja ei ole saatavilla saunoilla. Voit ostaa kuitenkin sellaisen Louhen kassalta.
  • Otathan mukaan omat pesuaineet. Vesimaailma Louhessa saippuoita on ainoastaan wc-tiloissa. Voit ostaa pesuaineita myös Louhen kassalta.
  • Wash thoroughly before entering the pool area (including removing any makeup). Also wash your hair or wear a swimming cap. Long hair must be tied back.
  • Please do not wear jewelry in the pool area. The pools have steel frames and rust easily due to contact with other metals.
  • Only swimwear is permitted in the pool area. You may wear a swimsuit, swimming trunks, or swim shorts. Swim diapers are recommended for babies.
  • Feet are disinfected when moving from the washing area to the pool area, or vice versa. There is a disinfection station by the door.
  • In the pool area, you must be considerate of other swimmers, move with caution, and not run.
  • Children under the age of nine, non-swimmers, and members of special groups must be accompanied by a person responsible for their conduct while on the Louhi premises.

Esteettömyys

The facilities at Vesimaailma Louhi are accessible: passageways are sufficiently spacious, and there are no thresholds.

Two changing rooms are reserved for people with reduced mobility. One of them (Changing Room 1 for people with reduced mobility) features an accessible sauna where the heat extends down to floor level; this means there is no need to lift a wheelchair or similar device, and an assistant is not necessarily required.

LOST AND FOUND

Lost property is always delivered to the Pirkanmaa Lost Property Office on the first working Monday of the month. Prior to this, we store lost items in the lost property storage unit in the Louhi lobby. Hygiene products (e.g., toiletries and hairbrushes) and sauna seat covers are not kept. Due to the large volume of lost items, we ask customers to collect their belongings in person from the storage unit in the lobby.
